This place is so much fun. From the big bibs you have to put on to to the steamy smokey hit stone plates they place in front of you. It is an interactive experience. The meat is divine there had a wagyu beef from Kobe Japan that was melt in your mouth. This was grain fed for 200 days. And the other meat we ordered was an Australian grain fed for 125 days rib eye. These were accompanied by chips and salad which were both seasoned well. For desert we had a creme brulee which was smooth and creamy. And the top crackle when hit with a spoon was music to my ears. The other dessert was chocolate fondant which was hot and gooey. Accompanied with vanilla ice cream. It was so good that when you finish you want to order another one. Service can be a little slow but the food absolutely makes up for it.

Mauritius Domaine Anna
Domaine Anna is a festive place where you are guarenteed a wonderful evening. There is a live band who after the wonderful dinner get everyone on the dance floor with classic songs. The place consists of tropical huts perched on top of water and even includes a mini aquarium. Now to get to the food. I tasted the seafood gratin which was divine. The seafood was not overcooked and the dish was flavorsome and creamy. The scallop gratin which was tasty but slightly underwhelming when you see the four tiny scallops and i found them to be slightly overcooked. The main which was a garlic and herb Mauritiun prawn which is farmed on the premises was amazing. Such a distinct and beautiful flavour and cooked so well. This place is an experience which i dont think you can miss when you are in Mauritus.

Sir Charles
This place is amazing. The restaurant open and lofty. Staff quick and polite. But the food, the food is on another level. Seriously delicious. We ordered
Deep fried korean burger with kimci, this had to be up there in the top 5 best burgers I've had. Poached eggs on crispy bread with jalapeno and mushroom poppers. For our sides we ordered crispy tofu that had a strong crunch with a wobbly centre. BBQ pork pieces with a tonkatsu sauce. I will be going back to try the dinner menu soon.

Laurent Lunch Doncaster
Mum and I were out and about shopping and decided that we were in desperate need of a coffee. Laurent was our stop of choice. We ordered cappuccinos with honey. The honey came in these beautiful little complimentary jars. For lunch we ordered crunchy bread roll filled with lamb, eggplant & creamy mayonnaise. For a quick lunch it ticked all the boxes and was very enjoyable.

Tutti Frutti
We tried the lychee, green tea and tart flavored yogurt. Accompanied with various toppings such as nuts, oats, dried fruits, fresh fruit, chocolate, jelly babies, Hershey toppings & the list goes on. The owner is welcoming and the decor bright and happy.

The things food dreams are made of
This is where our night begins, and once the wine is poured I have forgotten about our desertion . We order a few different dishes to share:
Whole fish, chili, lime & tamarind.
Caramelised pork hock, chili vinegar, crisp garlic.
Stir fried Chinese broccoli, snow peas, oyster sauce, crisp garlic.
Crisp pork belly, char grilled octopus, watermelon, ginger, black vinegar.
Lemongrass chicken, galangal broth, soft herb salad.
Thai jasmine white rice.
This place is what food dreams are made of. We are all a bit quieter in conversation when the food arrives oooohhhing & aaahhhing. The caramelised pork hock was our favorite, it was crispy on the outside and soft & gooey in the centre. The combination of the sweet & sour worked so well together. The fish we thought was another beautiful dish. Crispy on the outside and moist once you pull it apart. It's hard to flaw any of the dishes, longrain is simply perfection!
